FR James performed a complete renovation of an existing commercial space to allow the owners of We Olive, a high-end specialty food store, to open their first location in San Francisco.
After removing the existing interior finishes we added new partition walls to create a restroom and an office/prep space. We performed extensive renovations of the electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, rebuilt the main entry, and refurbished the existing concrete floor.
Our finish work included installing new exterior and interior doors, new cabinetry at the storefront and main retail area, andnew trims and picture rails which required custom treatments to match the unique look found in all We Olive stores. We installed numerous interior design treatments - a stone facade on two walls, natural clay wall plaster at the main retail area, and applied a new paint scheme throughout.
The project owners, based outside the area, were critically dependant on FR James's project management capabilities to deliver a high-quality project on budget and in time for their scheduled store opening date.
