CREATING THE 1ST BURNING MAN IN '86

Back in another lifetime, on the summer solstice in 1986, I built the first Burning Man. I also built the next three BM which became an annual ritual at Baker Beach, San Francisco. 1988 was the next major watershed for the event. Mike Acker's contribution was essential as we designed and built the BM model that is built and sacrificed each year. Here's a link to a recent interview of Mike and I by SF State journalism student Alicia Fischer.
