FR James Construction was engaged to construct a 550 square foot, two-story addition for a single-family home in San Francisco. We added two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a walk-in closet. The interior and exterior finishes were designed to match existing. Special design features included frameless showers, natural stone countertops and tub deck, and a cool roof.
Typical of San Francisco properties, the site had limited access and property line challenges. Working within this limited space we carefully orchestrated every aspect of the construction activity so all trades could perform efficiently.
We worked hard to achieve a critical project deadline for our clients and reached substantial completion one week ahead of schedule despite the addition of several items beyond the original scope of work.
